The Peacock Abstractions Quilt pattern is a multi-option quilt pattern in the Abstractions series. This foundation paper pieced quilt pattern is made of units that can be combined in different ways to make different quilts. It would be a great addition to your bird quilt collection!
The Peacock is the next project in the Abstractions series. This foundation paper pieced quilt is made with one striking large scale block.
You have a choice of 3 finished quilt sizes: 48 x 51" or 48" x 48" or 51" x 61". Fabric used on cover is Robert Kaufman Manchester & Kona Cotton Solids Fabrics. Color chart for each quilt included.
Pattern kit includes the project booklet, instructions, fabric selection guide and foundation paper piecing pattern pieces.
Before beginning this pattern determine which pieces you need from the chart inside. Copy or trace the PATTERN TEMPLATES at 100% to retain your original templates. Templates must be printed on 8 ½” x 11” paper on a dark enough setting to retain all details.
The Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern is printed on 11" x 17" paper, back-to-back. Most home printers WILL NOT PRINT 11" x 17" paper. We recommend Staples or any print shop and the average cost is under $5.
This Peacock Abstractions Quilt is truly a stunning quilt. Kids just love it!

I am just now piecing this peacock. I am a fairly new to piecing, but the instructions are easy to follow. The piecing map could be a little larger.
