This pattern is inspired by origami cranes. In Japanese lore, strings of 1000 folded cranes are thought to bring good luck and are often given as a wedding gift or to a new baby. They have also become a symbol of peace. Wish a loved one the best with this paper pieced quilt! Three sizes (baby, lap, and queen) are included.

This quilt is paper pieced, and assumes familiarity with the paper piecing technique.
