Navajo Yei Figures :

Navajo weavers and sand painters often depict Yei figures in their art. The Yei are spirits that communicate with the Great Spirit. Male Yei have round heads, while female Yei are shown with square heads. This foundation paper pieced pattern can be made as single Yei or three or five Yei. Current wall hanging size is approximately 54” wide x 44” tall; the pattern my be enlarged for a larger quilt.
