Fresh Cut Flowers are Foundation Paper Pieced quilts designed by Liz Schwartz & Stephen Seifert. The pattern book is a complete guide to making these stunningly beautiful quilts in easy to understand steps.

The pattern book comes complete with step-by-step instructions and patterns to make either one of two Fresh Cut Flowers quilts. One which has each flower outlined in black (Woodcut Quilt) much like a wood cut block and the other without the flowers outlined in black (Floral Quilt). Either way, these quilts are a show stopper!

You can make either the Woodcut Quilt or the Floral Quilt.

The pattern book also includes a fabric materials chart listing in detail each fabric and where they are used in the quilt for easy fabric selection and organization. Also included is step-by-step paper piecing instructions to get you started.

The finished quilts measure 84" x 102". You can make the entire quilt as one or make individual flower blocks for a wall hanging in seasonal arrangements and then change them as the seasons change. The patterns in the pattern book are full size so NO ENLARGING is necessary to make either of the 84" x 102" quilts.

The Fresh Cut Flowers is a soft-cover book requiring you to copy the patterns out of the book prior to actually starting to piece your quilt. As a service to our customers we offer a pattern packet where the patterns have already been copied onto regular copy paper so all you need do is copy the pattern sheets onto your favorite foundation paper piecing material and then you are ready to start sewing.

The pattern packet contains only ONE PATTERN SHEET for each block. Most of the patterns require at least 4 pattern sheets per block. Therefore you will need to make additional copies yourself, onto your favorite foundation paper piecing material (Vellum, Lightweight paper piecing sheets, Freezer Paper or our favorite: June Tailor’s Foundation Paper Piecing Sheets (which can be left in after piecing – NO PICKING PAPER OUT).
