The Angler's Dream pattern was designed by Cynthia England. Her new Paper Piecing technique is called ‘Picture Piecing’. It is a slightly different approach to foundation paper piecing and the pattern packet contains detailed instructions on this new technique. However, the pattern can be used as is with the traditional sew & flip method of paper piecing.
This quilt is sure to please fishermen and the women who love them. It is perfect for a man's office or den.
The pattern packet contains a master pattern, a freezer paper pattern for cutting up and sewing on, a detailed fabric listing with measurements and all instructions necessary to construct this wonderful quilt block.
The finished size of the quilt is 27 1/2” x 22 3/4” and is for an intermediate level piecer.

Pattern Includes: A full-size master pattern, full-size iron-on templates and 4 pages of illustrated instructions.

A love hate review

I have tackled many challenging foundation piecing patterns so the skill is not new to me. I have never had a pattern that approached the technique in such an unusual manner. Once I figured out a way to actually construct the sections, the work became less frustrating. I definitely prefer a different approach . Having said that, i am very happy with the end result. It really is a piece of art. I have ordered more patterns from this site so , in the end, I am satisfied.
